Meg and I met at CSU through Pi Phi. Sophomore year, she took me under her wing to show me the ropes of the sorority and we’ve been inseparable ever since. One of my favorite memories was one morning we were delirious and laughing then crying then laughing because we didn’t know why we were crying... pretty much sums up our ridiculousness. Meg is loyal, self-less and supportive and has one of the most infectious laughs.

Devon and I met our junior year of high school while playing club volleyball in the good old OC. I was quickly attracted to this sweet and bubbly blonde. Through college we did long distance, separated by a few states. However, shortly after, she was convinced to join us in the great state of Colorado! Since then, we have been celebrating all of life’s little things along the way! She is a warm and generous soul as well as a fabulous hostess, always finding cause for celebration!

KJ and I met at CSU through Pi Phi our Freshman year. Funny enough, KJ has been friends with Cameron longer than me. To this day, Cameron still comments on how he loves that she will bend the rules and just go after life! The two of us were Partners in Crime at the Sig Ep house Junior through Senior year. KJ is always down to take on whatever challenge as well as sign up for any event, party or dinner, especially if costumes are involved!

Sara and I met through our dudes. We quickly developed our own friendship, realizing that we are truly kindred spirits. Sara is a fellow INFJ just like me and I could not be more thankful for her teaching me what that means over the last couple of years as well as helping me to embrace and appreciate all pieces of who I am. Sara is deep, inquisitive, quirky and fun-loving, as well a very talented craftsman and figure painter.

Katy and I met at CSU, on our way to a crusty old dance club in Fort Collins which was all the rage our Freshman year. We quickly realized that we were both Pi Phis and have been inseparable ever since! Our friend circles criss crossed and intertwined in the craziest of ways over the last decade. Among a few of my ladies, she fought hard for Cameron and I, teaming up with him to win me back when I was dating other silly boys. Katy is steadfast, passionate and charismatic.

Kim and I met at CSU through Pi Phi our Freshman year. We lived together for our victory lap, our Super Senior year at CSU. She started dating Jeremy, one of Cameron’s fraternity brothers, so we had a blast hanging with the guys for BBQs, parties, formals, etc. Kim is flexible, constant and sincere. Together, we have ran 3 half marathons!

Frances and I met at CSU where we studied Apparel & Merchandising together. Funny enough, we met in speech class my sophomore year. Naturally, both of us being pretty introverted and arguably the best dressed in the class, we migrated toward one another in the back, day one. Post CSU, we both moved down to Denver and would kibitz about retail life. Frances is loving, passionate, artistic, honest and is the best dressed person I know!

Lauren is Cameron’s oldest sister. We met when she flew out from Vancouver to surprise Cameron for his graduation weekend. Cameron definitely looks up to her for her rational decision making, sense of adventure and never settling for less than awesome. He often thinks what would Lauren do in this situation. Lauren is reliable, honest and adventurous as well as an outdoor enthusiast!

Justine is Cameron’s older sister. My first time meeting Cameron’s family, she made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Cameron is blessed with having two older sisters who he looks up to so much and both in different ways. Their bond is so special and I am so thankful for that because along with his parents, they raised him to be the loving, compassionate, driven, upbeat, adventurous man that he is. Justine is dependable, warm hearted and comforting, as well as a phenomenal baker!

Julia and I met at CSU through Pi Phi. Julia and her husband, Gared were stationed in Naples, Italy while Cameron and I were living in France. It was fun to meet up in around western Europe and have a buddy in the same time zone who understood the culture shock. If it weren’t for Julia and Gared’s generosity of taking us in and shipping our things back and forth, we truly would have been in a far different situation abroad. Julia is joyful, hospitable, upbeat, and one of the best tour guides!
