TRAVELING WITHIN TELLURIDE

Once you are in the valley, you really don’t need a car.

There are buses, shuttles, ubers and a gondola to take you to, from and around the area.

FREE SHUTTLES: Galloping Goose shuttle buses run every 20 minutes between 7 a.m. and midnight daily.

Stops are located every few blocks.

WITHIN MOUNTAIN VILLAGE: Free shuttles run throughout Mountain Village every half hour.

DIAL-A-RIDE: is available daily to guests in Mountain Village between 7 a.m. and 12 a.m. during summer and winter. Call 970.728.8888 for information or visit the town's website.

UBER: available with the app.

FREE GONDOLA: The towns of Telluride and Mountain Village are linked by a spectacular, 13-minute ride on a free gondola. Passengers can load the gondola in either Mountain Village or Telluride and ride to the midway point (Station St. Sophia from which hiking, biking and ski trails are accessed, also the ceremony on Wedding Day!) and then continue on to the other side.

Price: FREE!

Hours: 6:30am to midnight

Stations: three primary stations where you can board and unload:

  • Station Telluride (Oak Street) – access in Telluride

  • Station St. Sophia (mid-mountain stop) – access to Allred’s Restaurant & Bar, The Ridge Club and ski resort trails and runs - ***This is the stop for Cameron and Kelly’s ceremony***

  • Station Mountain Village – access in Mountain Village

    • Just across from Station Mountain Village, a shorter gondola stretch connects to Station Village Parking, where the free parking garage, Town Hall and the Mountain Market are located.

Parking:  The best place to park is the Gondola Parking Garage in Mountain Village. Day-time parking is free, and allows you to travel between Mountain Village and Telluride without the hassle of driving into the town of Telluride and trying to find a parking space.
